INCLUDES TIFF AND
JPEG FILES!
PRO PHOTO CD II is the replacement
for the well known Kodak Photo CD Pro disc.
Like the Kodak Photo CD Pro disc, these discs offer scans from
35mm, 120 and 4x5 film sizes, and larger file sizes than the
Master discs. We've also added some features with this new PRO PHOTO CD II disc not previously
available, like standard file formats (TIFF and JPEG), scanning
from full rolls of film (Kodak's Pro disc is only available from
cut film and short strips) and better sharpness, color quality
and dynamic range.
Here
are some features of the new PRO
PHOTO CD II:
-Scans
are written as TIFF (uncompressed; best quality)
-A smaller, JPEG file is also included for each scan
-Available from full rolls, cut film and mounted slides; color
and B&W
-Available from 35mm, 120 and 4x5 filmm
-All discs include custom index print wtih thumbnails and filenames

*File
sizes are approximate and vary with aspect ratio of original
material being scanned. These sizes are for the uncompressed
TIFF files. JPEG files of each scan are also included and will
be approximately 6mb when decompressed.
VARIATIONS
JPEG + JPEG - If you specify when ordering, we can write both
the 60mb file and the 6mb file as JPEG format. Although TIFF
is uncompressed and has no loss, our high quality JPEG files
are excellent and this option allows us to write about 40 images
to each disc.
PRO PHOTO DVD - Same scans written to DVD-R media; 6x the capacity
of CD
OPTIONS
CUSTOM FILENAMING - Alpha numeric, sequential or unique
CROPPING - Crop to image, edge crop for clean border, custom
cropping as specified
COLOR CORRECTIONS - Color, density, contrast and saturation can
be adjusted to match a sample or simply to improve a faded image.
